Arama Ngapo-Lipscombe

Introducing Arama Ngapo-Lipscombe, Partner with NL Lawyers- Barristers & Solicitors. Arama graduated from Waikato University and has a BA, LLB and LLM qualifications. Arama has over 20 years legal experience and is based in our Tokoroa office.
Arama’s primary areas of practice include Family and Criminal Law and she appears frequently in the District Court, Family Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
Arama has a variety of portfolios and positions within the community which highlight her commitment to her clients and her community. Arama is currently a serving South Waikato District Councillor and is a member of the District Licensing Committee. Arama is the current President of the South Waikato YMCA. Arama is also a Resource Management commissioner.
Norman Te Kanawa-Gwynne
Lawyer
Norman is a litigation and alternative disputes resolution specialist with NL Lawyers. He is a skilled lawyer with a talent for providing smart, aggressive and strategic advocacy.
Graduating in 2001 in Law and Social Science, Norman spent a number of years working as a prosecutor and legal counsel for the Crown and then in the public sector. Norman has acted for and provided counsel to numerous government agencies including the Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Primary Industries, Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment, The Department of Inland Revenue.
In 2007 Norman joined the independent bar and has since represented countless clients in the High Court, District, Family and Youth Courts’ in Auckland and North Island.
At home Norman is keen on learning and supporting others in learning Te Reo Maori and promoting environmental responsibility, but most of all he values being with his family and going fishing with his kids.
Norman is now available to take your instruction on all litigation matters including criminal, family, Waitangi Tribunal, employment and immigration matters.
Thea Keith-Matchitt

Introducing Thea Keith-Matchitt. Thea was born and raised in the South Waikato. Thea has a wonderful approach to life and is conscientious and pays attention to detail.
Thea is currently working as a Legal Secretary/PA for NL Lawyers- Barristers and Solicitors but is also completing her Legal Studies course to be qualified as a Legal Executive.
Thea enjoys multiple Sports and is an international soccer player representing the Cook Islands. Thea enjoys the challenges and fast work pace that she is in on a daily basis at NL Lawyers- Barristers and Solicitors.
Barbara Morrison

Introducing Barbara Morrison. Barbara is an experience legal secretary having spent over 30 years working in Law firms in both Rotorua and Tokoroa. Barbara enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and is often seen proudly supporting them at their various activities. Barbara has been with NL Lawyers- Barristers and Solicitors over 10 years and is an integral part of the NL Lawyers- Barristers and Solicitors team.

Introducing Scott Ngapo-Lipscombe, Partner with NL Lawyers- Barristers & Solicitors. Scott graduated from Waikato University, during his time at Waikato University he obtained an LLB, LLM and BSoc Sci. Scott has a wide range of legal knowledge which benefits his many clients.
Scott is based in the Putaruru office whereby he specialises in Conveyancing, Estates, Wills and Trusts. Scott is also a skilled litigator having practised in the District Court for over a decade.
Scott works closely with various not for profit organisations within the community. Scott enjoys living and working in the South Waikato.
Theresa Adams
Legal Secretary / PA
Theresa joined KJ Hooks in 2014 as a Legal Secretary & Office Administrator. She has 5 years experience in the legal industry.
Theresa is PA to Scott Ngapo-Lipscombe in the Putaruru office of NL Lawyers and enjoys her work in a busy and rewarding environment.
Conveyancing is Theresa’s area of expertise. Having a background in Real Estate she has been able to bring that experience and knowledge with her. Assisting first home buyers from the KiwiSaver and Housing NZ process through to having the keys to their new home is the most rewarding part of what she does.
